DESCRIPTION:The Northwest Missouri State University\nClay Club will host an art sale from noon to 7 p.m. Friday\, April 22\, and 10\na.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday\, April 23\, in Meeting Room D of the J.W. Jones Student\nUnion. \n\nThe event features functional and\nnon-functional sculpture as well as paintings\, prints\, photography\, drawings\,\nfurniture and hand-made ceramics. \n\nPieces may be purchased by cash or check. \n\nEighty-five percent of the proceeds go\ndirectly to students and help offset the costs of art supplies. Remaining\nproceeds support art-oriented activities such as field trips and other\nco-curricular activities for the Clay Club. \n\nThe Clay Club hosts the art show and sale\nin collaboration with Northwest s Art Association at the end of each fall and\nspring trimester. The event is an established tradition at Northwest\, giving\nstudents an opportunity to show their best work\, collaboratively build a\ndisplay of work with peers from all studio areas and celebrate student talent\nand accomplishments with the community. \n\nThe Clay Club is a student organization for\nceramics students.
