Northwest Missouri State University\, in conjunction with\nthe Maryville Chamber of Commerce\, invites students and employees\, as well as\nthe public\, to a series of learning opportunities featuring presenters\ndiscussing workplace topics from engaging in difficult conversations and\ngenerational differences.

\n\nSix presentations are scheduled this fall for area\nprofessionals. Each presentation costs $25 for Maryville Chamber of Commerce\nmembers or $40 for non-members. Registration is available online at http://www.nwmissouri.edu/hr/trainingopps.htm.\n

\n\n\n\nThe presentations are free to Northwest students and employees as part of the University’s Career Pathing program\, which provides professional development opportunities to students interested in advancing to new levels of pay and responsibility. \;

They are not often in sync at all. \; Join international\nspeaker\, published author and business coach Barbara Teicher as she shares the\nsecrets of the messages people are really sending.

\n\n\n\nBy the end of this program\, individuals will know how to diagnose situations and people where a level of discomfort exists and why\, recognize the reasons for disconnects in conversations and relationships\, identify the six steps of the “It’s how you say it®” principle and determine how to make a V.A.S.T. difference. \;
