Northwest\nMissouri State University\, in conjunction with the Maryville Chamber of Commerce\,\ninvites students and employees\, as well as the public\, to a series of learning\nopportunities featuring presenters discussing workplace topics from engaging in\ndifficult conversations and generational differences.
\n\nSix\npresentations are scheduled this fall for area professionals. Each presentation\ncosts $25 for Maryville Chamber of Commerce members or $40 for non-members.\nRegistration is available online at http://www.nwmissouri.edu/hr/trainingopps.htm.\n
\n\nThe\npresentations are free to Northwest students and employees as part of the\nUniversity’\;s Career Pathing program\, which provides professional development\nopportunities to students interested in advancing to new levels of pay and\nresponsibility.
\n\nAll\npresentations are 60 or 90 minutes long and take place in the J.W. Jones\nStudent Union. More information about each session appears below.

\nDevin Henderson\, CSP\, Henderson Entertainment\, LLC

\n\nThe world is a stage and everyone is a performer. The\nstrategies that have made Devin Henderson an award-winning entertainer\ntranslate to the stage of life. His tips will help optimize performance on a\ndaily basis\, whether it be at home\, in the office or anywhere in between.
\n\nDevin is a clean comedian and he tricks out his stand-up with\nsurprising and unusual talents. Along with events nationwide\, Devin performs\nweekly at the Kansas City Improv Comedy Club\, and he’\;s an international\nsensation. A family studies degree from Kansas State University and a sense of\nhumor both explain Devin’\;s nine years of martial survival despite four\nchildren. Comedy writes itself for a man living with a family of six. From\ntexting typos to backseat slap fights to a home water birth\, the material never\nruns dry.
\n\nDevin is the author of a small book called “\;Share Your\nMagic\,”\; a pickpocket’\;s take on applying The Golden Rule. He is a CSP\, the\nspeaking industry’\;s international measure of expertise. Devin’\;s passion as a\nperformer is using his talents and knowledge to inspire others to “\;perform”\; at\ntheir best in all they do.
