DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, October 15\,  at 2:00 p.m. the Nodaway County Historical \nSociety will host a program given by Marla Burnsides on her family s  \nNative American heritage at the museum at 110 N. Walnut St.\, Maryville \nMO.  This program was originally scheduled for September but due to \nillness on that date\, it has been rescheduled.   Burnsides and her brother\, Robert Keiffer will share stories of their grandmother and the time on the\n reservation near White Cloud\, Kansas.  The Ioway tribe was one of the \nfirst tribes to come through the Nodaway County area and Burnsides will \nalso speak about that.  This will be an interesting program for all \nages\, so the historical society welcomes everyone to this program\, after\n which refreshments will be served.  \n The program is free\; donations are always welcome.  Museum hours are \nTuesdays through Fridays\, 1:00 to 4:00 and other days by appointment.  \nCall the museum at 660-582-8176 with any questions.
