DESCRIPTION:The Department of Language\, Literature and Writing will host authors \nJacquet J. Rancourt and Robert Long Foreman during its next installment \nof the Visiting Writers Series at 7 p.m. in the J.W. Jones Student Union\n Living Room.\n\n\n\nThe event is free and open to the public. Kawasaki\, Green Tower Press\, \nand the Department of Language\, Literature\, and Writing are sponsors of \nthe reading.\n\n\n\nRancourt is the author of  Novena\,  published this year by Pleiades \nPress and a winner of the Lena-Miles Wever Todd Prize. He has held \npoetry fellowships from the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing\, \nthe Cit  Internationale des Arts in Paris and Stanford University\, where\n he was a Wallace Stegner Fellow. His poems have appeared in the Kenyon \nReview\, jubilat\, Ploughshares\, Virginia Quarterly Review and Best New \nPoets 2014\, among others. He lives and teaches in the San Francisco Bay \nArea. His work can be found at www.jacquesjrancourt.com. \n\n\n\nRobert Long Foreman is the author of  Among Other Things\,  published \nthis year by Pleiades Press and a winner of the Robert C. Jones Prize. \nHis essays and short stories have appeared in Agni\, Copper Nickel\, The \nCincinnati Review and the Utne Reader\, among others.
