The Northwest Missouri State University Chorale will present their fall concert program on Sunday, Nov. 15, and invites the University community to view the performance online.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the concert venue will not be accessible to the public. Instead KNWT, Northwest’s student-led television station, will broadcast the concert presentations on its YouTube channel.
The University Chorale programs will include “Music in the Air” by Ryan Murphy, “Nothing Can Stop Me Now” by Anthony Newley, “Clear and Sweet is My Soul” by Michael John Trotta, “When Angels Sing” by Mark Miller, “With a Voice of Singing” by Martin Shaw, “Danny Boy” arranged by Julie Knowles and “This Little Babe” by Benjamin Britten.
The University Chorale, under the direction of Professor of Music Dr. Brian Lanier, is a large choral organization open to all students at Northwest. The ensemble presents a concert each semester, and its repertoire ranges from classical to gospel, and contemporary to Broadway. There is no audition requirement for membership in the University Chorale.
