The Nodaway County Historical Society will be hosting a Searching Your Family Tree on the Internet program at 2 pm, Saturday, May 20. The Museum is located at 110 North Walnut Street, Maryville. Dr. George Gille, a retired agriculture professor of Northwest Missouri State University will be leading the program. Dr. Gille will be covering how to search your family tree on the internet via free information or a fee system like Ancestry.com. Specifics ranging from what information is needed to operate these websites to what kind of information is available for a user to access will be covered. Admission is free, refreshments will be served, and donations to the museum are welcome.
