Come to the Nodaway County Historical Society on Sunday, Aug. 9 at 2:00 p.m. to enjoy an interesting program by Bill Medsker, about the town of Graham, MO. Medsker will share many old photos of street scenes of the town of Graham, as well as photos of churches, schools, businesses, and some people. Graham was named for an early settler of Nodaway County, Amos Graham (the town of Maryville was named for his wife, Mary Graham).
The program is free and open to the public, though donations are welcome, as the historical society operates with volunteers, donations, and has no tax support. Regular open hours for the museum are 1:00 to 4:00, Tuesdays through Fridays, and other days by appointment. All of the museum exhibits may be enjoyed following the program.
Call the museum at 660-582-8176 with any questions.
