Please join us for our final event of the year---
On Sunday, Dec. 10, the Nodaway County Historical Society museum will have a program at 2:00 p.m. Over the past year, Megan Fickler, NWMSU history student, has been conducting oral history interviews with local people who served in Viet Nam and the Korean conflict. Fickler will speak briefly on that project, and then will tell how to conduct an oral history interview, giving tips and tricks to creating oral interviews. She will provide people with the information and tools they need to be able to conduct interviews themselves. This will include demonstrating some cheap or free applications people can use, as well as tips to asking and forming questions.
The program is free; donations are always appreciated. Call 660-582-8176 with any questions. The museum is located at 110 N. Walnut St. in Maryville MO.
Following this program on Sunday, Dec. 10, the museum will be closed for the winter and will reopen on March 6, 2018.
