We're coming together as a community to make this holiday season the biggest and brightest Maryville has ever seen.
A Very Maryville Christmas is a collaborative effort of your Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce, Nodaway County Economic Development, The City of Maryville, Maryville Downtown Improvement Organization, and Nodaway County, in partnership with area retail businesses and local media.
With special thanks to:
Grinch Marshal Nominees
"Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store, maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more"- The Grinch
Each year, the non-profit organizations of Maryville are asked to nominate an outstanding volunteer or staff member. These members are people who represent their organization well, and are present in the community. They are also comfortable riding at the front of the Chamber Christmas parade and the acting as the Grinch Marshal.
Beginning November 8th the “Grinch Marshal” Voting is open at Your Maryville Hy-Vee, and Walmart! Every $1 is equivalent to a vote for that nominee to become the Grinch of Maryville in the Lighted Christmas Parade on Friday, Dec. 3.
The Grinch nominee that has the most votes will not only be the “Grinch Marshal” of our Christmas parade, but the non-profit they represent will receive ALL of the money collected in the voting process.
