This award recognizes a Chamber member business which is extremely involved in the community, fosters economic growth, demonstrates outstanding customer service, and builds professional relationships. To be eligible for this award, businesses must be in good standing with the Chamber and should fit at least one of the following selection criteria: Have demonstrated outstanding support to the community or to the Chamber. Provided superior customer service and/or products. Considered a successful and professional business by peers. When nominating a business, please consider the following: customer service, accessibility, convenience of hours, demeanor of staff, social responsibility, volunteerism, long term commitment to local economic growth, proactivity of hiring standards, and commitment to educational excellence. Deadline for nominations is the first Friday of each month.

The Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors April Business of the Month is The Maryville Forum. Located 111 East Jenkins in Maryville, The Forum is owned by Cobb Publishing, Phil and Chaundee Cobb. It is a weekly publication and reliable source of local news for the Maryville region.

According to its nomination, The Forum, “provides strong coverage of the stories that matter most, with especially excellent sports reporting that highlights our local student-athletes and teams. They’re also always willing to support non-profits and community events, helping spread the word and make a difference. In a time when local journalism is more important than ever, The Forum and The Post continue to show up for our community—and we’re better for it.”
