  • Last Month on B.O.S.S. Coffee:

  • Last month we hosted, Board Game Cafe and the Plant House, with coffee Sponsored by Baker- Garrett Property Investment.

  • Board Game Cafe

Maryville Board Game Cafe offers a menu full of specialty drinks crafted by talented baristas. "At it's core, Board Game Cafe is a coffee shop" says owner Scott Copeland. The cafe provides customers with large cups of coffee to sip from, instead of to-go cups. "We do have to-go cups", Scott jokes, "but we want people to sit down, unplug, and unwind with a warm cup of their favorite coffee, tea, etc." The Board Game Cafe also proudly partners with Alis Bakery to provide customers with fresh baked goods while they spend time unwinding. With over 400 board games available to choose from, their library includes many award-winning titles! Employees of The Board Game Cafe have become accustomed to hosting parties and community groups as well as families, college students, and high school students that stop in to play a game or grab some coffee. Scott and his team run the business using one motto: Unplug. Unwind. Recharge. Reconnect.

  • The Plant House

Owners of Maryville's only greenhouse, Tim Janousek and Kelsey Bowlin, specialize in annuals, perennials, seed, and friendly advice! The Plant House has been around since 1967, Tim and Kelsey recently re-opened the greenhouse after they saw it sat closed for a few years. "We had been driving by a closed greenhouse for a couple years until we finally realized - what are we doing?!" Tim laughed. "We both know that we can do this! We saw an opportunity, so we decided to take advantage." Since they re-opened, The Plant House seeks to offer unique, healthy plants and advice to anyone interested - be that, gardeners, beginners, college students, landscapers, and seasoned pros. The Plant House has proudly partnered with many organizations including Mozingo and the Horticulture Club. As first year owners, Tim and Kelsey are excited about new growth opportunity in the community and look forward to this next season. Be sure to keep an eye out for upcoming events hosted by The Plant House!
