6th Annual K-9 Garage Sale Fundraiser

Volunteers from the Maryville community are holding a garage sale fundraiser for the Nodaway County Sheriff's Office, Narcotics and K-9 Program.  This is the 6th Annual K-9 Garage Sale Fundraiser to be held for K-9 Jerik.  Special guests at the sale will be K-9 Jerik and Deputy Austin Hann.

There will be surprises at the event: grab bags, refreshments and daily door prizes, raffles, gift cards, and merchandise donated by area merchants.   

This huge sale will be one you won't want to miss!  Good, working, sellable items are still being accepted and can be donated at the American Legion Hall on Sunday, Aug. 16th from 1 to 6 pm, Monday, Aug. 17th through Tuesday the 18th from 9 am to 7 pm, and on Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 9 am to 1 pm.  (New or lightly used linens and clothing on hangers will be accepted.)  Baby clothes and denim can be folded and packed in stackable cardboard boxes.  NOT accepting computers, printers, electronics, TVs, or pianos.

All proceeds from the sale will help the Sheriff's Office with food, vet. bills, equipment, and the necessary training for K-9 Jerik and Deputy Hann.
