Author Program with Jason Offutt

The Nodaway County Historical Society is excited to once again host Jason Offutt for an author program. Offutt teaches journalism at Northwest Missouri State University and is the author of 16 books in a wide variety of categories ranging from sci-fi and paranormal non-fiction, to travel humor and children’s historical non-fiction, his titles include: “The Girl in the Corn,” “So You Had to Build a Time Machine,” “Chasing American Monsters: 250 Creatures, Cryptids, and Hairy Beasts,” “Bad Day for the Apocalypse,” “Haunted Missouri: A ghostly guide to the Show-me State’s Most Spirited Spots,” “J. C. Penney: The Man With a Thousand Partners,” and many more. The program will include a book signing. Admission is free, donations are welcome.
