Join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Alma Nash Historical Marker at 11 a.m., in the Pocket Park, located at the corner of 3rd and Main Streets. This marker will be installed in Pocket Park to honor Alma Nash for her role in leading The Missouri Ladies Military Band. They traveled to Washington, D.C., for the national women's suffrage parade held on March 3, 1913. After the ribbon cutting, all are invited to enjoy refreshments and tours at the Nodaway County Historical Society & Museum.
