    Date: April 10, 2019
    Time: 7:00 PM - 7:00 PM CDT
    Event Description:
Northwest Missouri State University will host a screening of “Food Evolution,” an acclaimed documentary about how misinformation, confusion and fear about food choices can overwhelm people throughout the world.

The Northwest chapter of the Collegiate Farm Bureau and the Nodaway County Farm Bureau are sponsoring the screening at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, in the Charles Johnson Theater at the Olive Deluce Fine Art Building. The screening is free and open to the public.

“In a world full of misinformation, this documentary explores the many ways that science has been twisted and abused to be used against the genetic engineering of our food,” Mariah Forck, a senior agricultural business major from Jefferson City, Missouri, who serves as president of Northwest’s Collegiate Farm Bureau chapter, said. “This documentary does an excellent job of providing accurate information while separating fact from fiction.”
