Epic Moments in the Civil Rights Movement

“A Walk in Their Shoes: Epic Moments in the Civil Rights Movement” begins at 7 p.m. in the Charles Johnson Theater at the Olive DeLuce Fine Arts Building. It is free and open to the public.

The production is a multimedia docudrama featuring live music, poetry and reenactments. It is the creation of Kansas City native Angela Hagenbach, a singer, narrator, commercial talent and workshop presenter.

Northwest’s Intercultural Advocacy Committee is sponsoring the event with support from the Missouri Humanities Council, the Missouri Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Northwest Academic Initiative.
