              Big Hats, Bow Ties, Bets, and Bourbon! The Nodaway County Historical Society is partnering with the Black Pony Brewing Company to celebrate the 150th Kentucky Derby and commemorate Nodaway County's 1904 Derby winner, Elwood.

              Fees/Admission:
              Tickets are available at the Black Pony’s website: www.blackponybrewco.com (click on events). The first 50 people who register will receive an engraved mint julep cup. All attendees will get to watch the races, place bets, enter a raffle for a limited-edition commemorative bottle of Woodford Reserve’s Kentucky Derby 150, compete for prizes for the best dressed (best ladies’ hat, most dapper gent, and best dressed couple), document the day in a themed photo booth, and enjoy bourbon-themed snacks provided by Hy-Vee. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Nodaway County Historical Society & Museum.
