The Nodaway County Fair and Mozingo Lake are partnering up to bring you the Mozingo Lake BBQ competition, a Kansas City Barbecue Society-sanctioned event. The BBQ event coordinators have been working with KCBS, the City of Maryville and area health officials to ensure the event follows all local, state and federal COVID guidelines. Masks are
required when social distancing isn’t possible, and there will be no bounce houses now due to safety concerns related to COVID.
Live music will be played all weekend long, including Alexadra Kay on Friday, Phil Vandel on Saturday and Forney and Friends both Saturday and Sunday. Marcos the Magician will be on the grounds performing various tricks. A beer garden put on by River Bluff Brewing / St. Joe Beer, LLC will be on site all weekend long. KNIM will be putting on a local Country Showdown Sunday at 1 pm.
