The Department of Fine and Performing Arts will host an exhibition by Indonesian-American multidisciplinary artist and art activist Chintia Kirana in the Olive DeLuce Gallery in the Fine Arts Building. Kirana’s work has been featured in national and international solo, group, and juried exhibitions. She is also the co-founder of Expose Art Magazine, an international contemporary art publication with a global readership. On February 17, 2020, Kirana will give a lecture on her work as part of the opening celebration of the Silver Lining exhibit. Lecture and Exhibition Opening: Monday, February 17th, 7–9 p.m. The lecture begins at 7pm in the Charles Johnson Theater in the Fine Arts Building. The lecture will be followed by a reception and the exhibition opening in the Olive DeLuce Gallery, located across from the Charles Johnson Theater. The exhibit runs from February 17-March 27th.
