Location: Student Union BallroomHappiness is not a destination; it is a state of mind, a choice. That said, we all have the capability to be happier. To get started, you must first choose to be happy rather than any other alternative. One sure fire way to do this is to set your mind to “happy-mode” by practicing the art of living intentionally and making that process a habit. No matter what personality you were born with, no matter what your circumstances are, you can boost your level of happiness by taking charge of your life and using the habits outlined in this presentation. This program is built upon the foundations of positive psychology and the works of those like Dr. Martin Seligman and Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky. Put these foundations into practice in your daily life and you’ll find yourself more productive in your work, more loving in your relationships and overall: more happy!
The Maryville Chamber of Commerce and Northwest Missouri State University have teamed up to provide Chamber members with low-cost, high-quality business training presentations for your staff. Sessions of Northwest’s Career Pathing Program have been opened to the public, and Chamber Members will enjoy a substantial discount. For only $25 per attendee, you can send yourself or your personnel to one of these informative and professional presentations.
All presentations feature multiple start times so you can send staff without needing to close the office! All presentations are in the J.W. Jones Student Union Ballroom on the campus of Northwest Missouri State University, and all participants will receive temporary parking permits
