Theatre Northwest - Freshman/Transfer Showcase

The Freshman/Transfer Showcase is an annual production performed by first-year students at Northwest, and the first show of our Theatre Northwest 2017-2018 season. "Landscape of the Mind" will feature world premiere short plays and monologues written by Theatre Northwest's 2017 Playwriting students, who began with the simple prompt of “Identity”; defining the first step toward the overarching theme to our 2017-2018 season. We are proud and excited to present this collaborative production to you.

The Showcase, now in its 27th year, introduces audiences to Theatre Northwest’s new performing arts majors, while orienting the students with the people and practices of the theatre program.

The show runs Oct. 5-8, and begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Studio Theater at the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts.

Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased at the box office up to one hour before the show.
