Nominated for two Tony awards, Time Stands Still focuses on the
relationship between photo journalist Sarah and her boyfriend James, a
war correspondent, after they return home from covering the war in Iraq.
Sarah has been left disfigured and injured from a roadside bomb, and
James is experiencing guilt after having had left the country before
Sarah’s attack. In their New York apartment, they consider a more
conventional life; each with different opinions about what such a life
would mean for them individually, and as a couple.
The show is located in the Studio Theater in the Ron Houston Center for
the Performing Arts, April 20-21 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person
and can be purchased at the door up to one hour before show time.
Contains mature content, including war-related PTSD.
