Location: Student Union BallroomCreating a life change is a fluid process and armed with the right creative skills and tools anyone can effectively overcome the bumps and roadblocks that have waved “hello” along the way. In this inspiring, practical and fun, yet serious, presentation you will learn that you, yes you, are a unique artist within your own life. Through this time together you will be able to examine where you currently are within the journey of change that began as just a spark of insight. No matter how tidy or even how messy your life may be for you right now you can pack these practical skills with you as you journey forward. Become an artist within your own life and be ready for that next spark.
We all practice conflict resolution daily, but how can we quickly identify, diagnose and resolve the conflict before it reaches a boiling point. The goal of this presentation is to gain a better understanding of the different types of conflict that we encounter in the workplace. Using models and maps we will work through how to analyze, diagnose, and resolve conflict.
The Maryville Chamber of Commerce and Northwest Missouri State University have teamed up to provide Chamber members with low-cost, high-quality business training presentations for your staff. Sessions of Northwest’s Career Pathing Program have been opened to the public, and Chamber Members will enjoy a substantial discount. For only $25 per attendee, you can send yourself or your personnel to one of these informative and professional presentations.
All presentations feature multiple start times so you can send staff without needing to close the office! All presentations are in the J.W. Jones Student Union Ballroom on the campus of Northwest Missouri State University, and all participants will receive temporary parking permits
