Free collection of household hazardous products that are used for cleaning, painting, lubricating and disinfecting the house, yard, workshop and garage. Examples are household chemicals - bleach, ammonia and clenaers - fertilizers, pesticides, brake fluid, transmission fluid, household waxes, ni-cad, lithium and lead acid batteries, compact fluorescent light bulbs, florescent tubes, mercury, antifreeze, oil base paint and varnish. Keep all wastes in original containers.
Not accepted: electronics, latex paint or alkaline batteries, motor oil, syringes, prescription medicines, compressed gas cylinders, smoke detectors, commercial waste, radioactive waste, explosive waste, unknown wastes.
